Light: Reflection Refraction and Dispersion
Light is a form of energy which enables us to see. We need it in photography. Plants need it to make food. When light comes into contact with matter, it may be reflected, absorbed, transmitted or refracted. Light may also be spread-out (dispersed) when it passes through a glass prism.
Approximation and Estimation
Approximation is a result that is nearly but not exactly correct yet it is accurate enough for a specific purpose. An estimation is an educated guess. We estimate quantities whose exact values are not known or not easily accessible, for example, the cost of a building, the size of the crowd and the amount of money to perform a task.
